The Cheah Kongsi at Duanwu Festival Night



The Cheah Kongsi will be lighting as well on the night of the Duanwu Festival. Besides that, ancestor prayer and dinner are also usually held for members of the clanhouse on this day.

Duanwu Festival in Penang

On 23 June 2012, the Chinese clan houses or associations in George Town, Penang held a grand night celebration for the Duanwu Festival. The focus of the celebrations includes family reunion and eating rice dumplings.
