Restored earlier this year, the Sunken Garden is located at a lower ground area which is just outside of the Botanic Gardens in Penang. Sunken Garden was originally conceived by the Botanic Gardens’ first Malaysian curator Cheang Kok Choy during his tenure but the garden was later abandoned for some 40 years before its restoration.
