Subsequently, the temple underwent additional renovation and expansion into a beautiful and impressive temple complex today.

The Temasya Bagan at Butterworth is a monthly festival held by the local community with support from the state government to promote the arts and culture scene in Butterworth. One such initiative is the birth of the Butterworth Art walk Alley.
