Penang Street Art (No Single Use Plastic)

Sponsored by AMD, this art mural depicts the ‘No Single Use Plastic’ environmental campaign that is being launched in Penang. This art work can be found at the side wall of Wen Chang Chicken Rice shop in Cintra Street, George Town.

Penang Street Art (Folklore by the Sea @ Chew Jetty)

This art mural is found on the wall of the old wooden house in Chew Jetty where Folklore by the Sea performance show is located.
Located at the famous Chew Jetty, Folklore By The Sea is a live theatrical show which tells the story of the settlers from China who built their homes at the Penang waterfront in the 1880s.

Penang Street Art (The Dragon)

A Chinese style dragon painted by a Penang-based artist named Zen Lim (Instagram @zenlim_penang_artist). This dragon mural titled ‘Enter the Dragon’ can be found at the side wall of a heritage shophouse located along Carnarvon Street, George Town.

Penang Street Art (The Praying Indian Lady)

An art work by artist Julia Volchkova can be found at an old overgrown wall along the alley of Lumut Lane, George Town. Improvising on the existing wall facade of nature and stone, this mural depicts an old Indian lady who seems to be praying under the overgrown tree’s shade.
