This large outdoor art sculpture is made up of LEDs that lights up during the nights in an empty building in the Raja Uda area, Butterworth, Penang. It is a creation of artist Jun Hao Ong for the Urban Xchange art festival held in 2015 in Penang.

Penang Isle: Teluk Bahang Forest Park

Forest Reserve

Taman Rimba Teluk Bahang or Teluk Bahang Forest Park is a rather large recreational forest for outdoor activities including hiking, camping and also to enjoy the lush rainforest in Penang. In addition to that, there is a Forestry Museum inside the park which has free admission.

The forest park is located just before Teluk Bahang Dam (opposite the dam itself) if one drives up from Batu Ferringhi area and is right after the Penang Butterfly Farm. The area is a lowland dipterocarp forest.

Penang Street Art (Graffiti Park)

The Penang Youth Park (or officially the Municipal Park) is now home to a recently launched graffiti park where graffiti artists may showcase their talent. The graffiti park is designed to be environmentally friendly with new walls being constructed near the existing skate park for the art purpose.

Penang Isle: Metropolitan Park Revisited

Surrounded by lush rainforest and fruit trees (durian trees in particular), this new area extension to the existing park provides a nice recreational park for the public. The Metropolitan Park in Relau is also home to several species of durian trees.

Penang Isle: The Quarry Recreational Park

The Quarry Recreational Park is a recent extension to the Botanic Gardens of Penang. In addition to provide a venue for recreational activities, the park also often serves as a venue to various events organised by the state such as hosting the World Music Festival. Besides that, during the weekends, music performance (usually by school bands or music groups) are also held at the park in the evening.
