Penang Isle: Teoh Kongsi

The Teoh Kongsi clan association was founded by tycoon Ceong Fatt Tze in 1895. The clan association has a Straits Eclectic style building as well as an archway or entrance which can be found located along Carnavon Street.

Originally named Hong Kong Street due to its early settlers from Hong Kong, this street was later renamed after Cheong Fatt Tze, an influential Chinese figure in Penang.

Penang Isle: Nan Tien Gong Temple

With a panoramic view of the Gelugor area below, this temple is located at one of the hills of Bukit Gambir.
The temple is built for the worship of Chinese deity, Tua Pek Kong, the Taoist god of prosperity.
