The Rainbow Skywalk and Views from The TOP @ KOMTAR

The Top @ KOMTAR is Penang’s popular attraction inside the iconic KOMTAR tower, known for its skywalks, observatory decks, indoor entertainment, and wide city views from one of George Town’s tallest landmarks. It is a major sightseeing spot for visitors who want food, family attractions, and panoramic views in one place.

Built 249 meters above ground, the Rainbow Skywalk at the Komtar’s TOP consists of a glass panel floor with a curved walkway that provides breathtaking view of the George Town city below.

George Town Night View: Chinese Heritage Shophouses

134 and 136 Carnarvon Street

Old heritage shophouses located along Carnarvon Street, George Town. According to the historical signboard, businessman Khaw Seng Lee and his cousins founded Kim Bian Seng Gold Merchant Company and the Kim Bian Aik Goldsmith at these buildings in the early 20th century. Khaw Seng Lee was the former Chairman Penang Philomatic Union and held key positions in various institutions in Penang back then including Chung Ling School and Lam Wah Ee Hospital.
