This part of Chulia Street is where the Little India street exits.
George Town Street View: Kampung Malabar
Kampung Malabar is actually a street that links up Penang Road and Cintra Street in George Town. Its name was derived from a Malabari village during the 19th century. The Malabaris were originally from Kerala, India and were artisan construction workers. The area was later dominated by the Chinese and Japanese during the 1900s.
Penang Street Art (The White Tiger Mural)
In conjunction with the Urban Xchange street art festival for 2015 in Penang, this giant white tiger mural was painted at a small lane between two heritage townhouses at Stewart Lane, George Town. This mural was painted by Japanese artist TWOONE/ Hiroyasu Tsuri.
The Urban Xchange 2015 street art event is organised by Hin Bus Depot.

George Town Street View: Seang Tek Road
Seang Tek Road (or Jalan Seang Tek) is a road that links up Anson Road with Dato Kramat Road in George Town.
Penang Street Art (Marilyn Monroe on a Bench)
Another mural featuring what appears to be Marilyn Monroe sitting on a bench holding a mobile phone with a luggage beside. A creation by Yakuzart Creation, this art work can be found at the wall along the alley to Grand Swiss Hotel in Chulia Street, George Town.

A mural of the famous Mr. Bean character on a bicycle found at the wall along the alley to Grand Swiss Hotel in Chulia Street, George Town.

George Town Heritage Roofs
In George Town, heritage buildings of different faiths and cultures are common sights which serve as a history of Penang’s multiracial harmony. Pictured here is the view of the dome of Kapitan Keling Mosque with the roofs of two pre-war Chinese style townhouses.
