One common mode of transportation used in Penang is the motorcycle. Motorcycle can be a convenient (and sometimes faster) way of navigating through some of the small and busy streets of George Town.

A large art mural painted on the wall of a shop selling Vespa scooters in Irving Road, George Town. This yellow building can be found at the corner of the junction of Irving Road and Naning Street.
Ah Quee Street (Lebuh Ah Quee), is an old street in George Town which is named after Kapitan China Chung Keng Kwee. An influential figure during his time, Kapitan Chung Keng Kwee (also known as ‘Ah Kwee’, hence the street name) presented this street to the local municipality after having demolished his shophouses to make way for the road.
