Cafe 55 is located at the corner pre-war shophouse of Stewart Lane and Chulia Lane. As with most of such cafes in George Town, the cafe serves both food (such as spaghetti and all day breakfast) as well as various drinks, especially coffee. The cafe is notably known for its 3D latte art.

Bishop Street: Lighthouse Coffee
Lighthouse Coffee is a small cafe (and one of the earlier one of such cafes in George Town) located within the Logan Heritage building and facing Bishop Street. The cafe also provides coffee making or latte art classes for those who want to try their hands as a barista.

Green Hall Street: Kaffa Espresso Bar
A newly established cafe at Green Hall Street, Kaffa Espresso Bar joins a myriad of such similar cafes which are opening all over George Town in recent years. Kaffa Espresso Bar provides a retro-like and cozy ambiance while serving nice food (such as Big Bites All-Day Long Breakfast Platter) and coffee. Chulia Street: The Mugshot Cafe
The Mugshot Cafe is one of the many recent small cafes that have mushroomed all over George Town, taking advantage of its heritage status popularity. It serves its own homemade bagels (one of its main draw) which are sourced from the Rainforest bakery next door (both of which are owned by the same people). It is a popular place for both locals and foreigners to hang out and especially for breakfast. The cafe is located along Chulia Street and opens daily from 8am-9pm.
Beach Street: Cozy in the Rocket
Cozy in the Rocket is the new Amelie Cafe with a spacious dining area and still retains its old vintage settings. Operated by the original couple owners, Cozy in the Rocket is located at the corner of the junction of Armenian Street and Beach Street, a few meters away from the old spot.
Komtar Walk: Coob Coffee Club

Muntri Street: Soul Kitchen
Soul Kitchen is a little restaurant/cafe converted from a pre-war 2-storey house located at Muntri Street, George Town. The relaxed atmosphere and retro decoration of the cafe give it a great place to have a brunch or a cup of coffee amidst the old heritage streets of the town. The cafe was founded by married couple Michele and Tonio who met each other in Munich.
