The Old Hilltop Post Office
One of the oldest post offices and the highest one in Penang. This post office is the only one atop the Penang Hill and has been serving the residents up there for a long time.

The Penang General Post Office is located within the Bangunan Tuanku Syed Putra (literally, Building of Tuanku Syed Putra) at Downing Street, George Town. As the first major government office in Penang after the country’s independence, Bangunan Tuanku Syed Putra was named after Tuanku Syed Putra, the Raja of Perlis, who was also the country’s third King during 21 September 1960 to 20 September 1965.
