Linear Park Scenic Landscapes
Located away from the main roads and popular tourist areas in Penang, Linear Park (or Taman Jajar) is a rather hidden public park that has a beautiful landscape reminiscence of the Taiping Lake Garden, with its rain trees.
Linear Park runs along the Ayer Itam River, and is linked to the Suffolk House via a red brick bridge. The park is located at York Road, Penang.
Botanic Gardens: The Orchidarium
The Orchidarium inside the Botanic Gardens was rebuilt in 1992 and housed a number of native orchid plants found in Malaysia’s rainforest. These orchids typically only bloom once in a year.
