This latest art work by artist Julia Volchkova can be found at an old overgrown wall along the alley of Lumut Lane, George Town. Improvising on the existing wall facade of nature and stone, this mural depicts an old Indian lady who seems to be praying under the overgrown tree’s shade.

Located nearby the large art mural of Sabek in Raja Uda Road in Butterworth, this large patternal mural was painted by an Iranian street artist who goes by the name Nafir. This beautiful art work features a ‘3D’ butterfly amidst the elaborate pattern. It was also painted in conjunction with the Urban Xchange street art festival 2015 held in Penang.

This large wall art mural was painted by Sabek, a Spanish artist who came to Penang again, this time for the Urban Xchange 2015 street art festival in Penang. This new mural was painted to replace the original mural which was also done by Sabek. This mural can be found at Jalan Raja Uda (or Raja Uda Road) in Butterworth, Penang.

The area map of Raja Uda Road (or Jalan Raja Uda). Raja Uda is one of the major roads of Butterworth, Penang and is popular for the many eateries, shops and houses lining along the long road.

This large beautiful mural depicting a Phoenix is one of the recent art works completed for the Urban Xchange street art festival 2015 in Penang. This art work’s creator is the Chinese-born artist DALeast, who is based in Cape Town, South Africa. He was invited to be one of the participating artists for the festival. The mural was painted with his signature 3D-wires style technique. This mural can be found at the wall of an old building facing the car park of New Savoy Hotel at Hutton Lane, George Town.

A large art mural painted on the wall of a shop selling Vespa scooters in Irving Road, George Town. This yellow building can be found at the corner of the junction of Irving Road and Naning Street.
In conjunction with the Urban Xchange street art festival for 2015 in Penang, this giant white tiger mural was painted at a small lane between two heritage townhouses at Stewart Lane, George Town. This mural was painted by Japanese artist TWOONE/ Hiroyasu Tsuri.
The Urban Xchange 2015 street art event is organised by Hin Bus Depot.
