The Bambusetum which is located just outside the Penang Botanic Gardens is a landscaped garden which features various types of bamboo and a large bamboo house. A walkway leading into the garden and over small hills provides a scenic route for visitors to view the naturescape and the many bamboo trees.

Nautilus Bay Promenade Walkway


The Nautilus Bay’s IJM promenade is a stretch of seafront public walkway and park located at the eastern coast of Jelutong, Penang. The blue pillars called Celebration of Our Blue Sky, a modern art sculpture by Japanese artist Hitori Nakayama, can be seen at the background.

Penang Isle: The Botanical Garden

The Penang Botanic Gardens, also known as the “Waterfall Gardens” because of the cascading waterfall nearby, is a public park situated on Jalan Air Terjun (Waterfall Road) in George Town on Penang Island, Malaysia. The original gardens were established in 1884 from an old quarry site, under the supervision of Charles Curtis, who was the first superintendent.
