Penang Chinese Town Hall

Established in 1881 by the Chinese merchants of Penang, the Penang Chinese Town Hall currently has its office building located along Pitt Street, George Town (next to the famous Kuan Yin Temple).
It was found that Chung Keng Quee was the single largest individual donor towards the founding of the town hall and was a prominent president serving from 1881 to 1883.

Penang Street Art (Cannon Street)

A steel rod sculpture depicting how Cannon Street got its name. During the Penang Riots back in 1867 between two major triad factions, cannons were fired upon this area and the street was damaged from holes made by the shots.

Soul Kitchen is a little restaurant/cafe converted from a pre-war 2-storey house located at Muntri Street, George Town. The relaxed atmosphere and retro decoration of the cafe give it a great place to have a brunch or a cup of coffee amidst the old heritage streets of the town. Founded partially as a pit stop café along Nagore Road by Indonesian native Tigun Wibisana, an avid cyclist, and his wife, SiTigun is a small cafe serving light breakfast and of course, coffee.
