Lanterns adorning the Armenian Park at night during the Chinese New Year festive period. The park is also used as a major place for festive celebration such as the Lanterns Festival above, to be held during the weeks of Chinese New Year.
Completed and opened in the year 1883, this small garden beside the Penang Town Hall was named after the fountain located at the center of the garden. The fountain was donated by a local businessman named Koh Seang Tat to the George Town Municipal Council back then. This historical Fountain Garden also undergone a restoration in recent years and is now a small outdoor but shaded park in the city.

In conjunction with the Penang International Container Art Festival (PICAF), a number art works featuring murals painted on containers will be completed and put on display at various locations in Penang. This art work is one of the first and can be found along Jalan Dr Lim Chwee Leong, beside Prangin Mall in George Town.
