Penang Isle: Nan Tien Gong Temple

With a panoramic view of the Gelugor area below, this temple is located at one of the hills of Bukit Gambir.
The temple is built for the worship of Chinese deity, Tua Pek Kong, the Taoist god of prosperity.

Penang Waterfall Hill Temple


One of the oldest Hindu temples in Penang and the most famous in the island. A new temple complex is built on higher ground recently behind the old temple and is dedicated to Lord Murugan.

The Landmark Sculpture


An old miniaturized sculpture of Penang’s iconic landmark (KOMTAR tower) can be seen by the roadside along the uphill route to the Ayer Itam Dam. Looking over the sculpture, one can see the cityscape of George Town and at the center, lies the real KOMTAR tower.
