Tucked along the small alley of Stewart Lane beside the famous Kuan Yin Temple in George Town, The Alley cafe is a rather hidden cafe that is popular locally with its churros and cronuts. The cafe itself is actually housed in a former Chinese paraphernalia shophouse called Kedai Gaharu Keat Seang.

A closeup of the gate of the Lim Kongsi reveals that the Lim (or Lin æž—) Chinese character is inscribed into the iron grill gate itself.
The Lim Kongsi (Lim Clan Association) is a Hokkien association located at Ah Quee Street, George Town.
