Taking the Round Island Hill Road
One of the ways to experience the nautral landscape of Penang island, is to take a drive ’round the island’ via Teluk Bahang to Balik Pulau route. This route will take you through hill slopes of forest and fruits plantations. It is a refreshing route to show the other side of Penang.
Penang Hill: The Summit Road
Besides the various routes leading up to the top of Penang Hill, there are also a number of paths and roads at the top for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Due to the fresh cool air and lush greenery nature at the top of the hill, Penang Hill’s Summit Road is a local favorite road for cycling or jogging. Along the Summit Road, one will encounter paths which will lead to the various old British colonial era bungalows built at the slope of the hill.
