The House of Yeap Chor Ee
The House of Yeap Chor Ee was converted into a Social History Gallery a few years ago, showcasing and documenting the journey of Yeap Chor Ee, a Chinese immigrant who came to Penang in 1885.
Also served as his first house, the gallery provides a preview of Chinese immigrants’ lives in the old days of Penang. Among these immigrants, Yeap Chor Ee was known for being a simple barber who later became a very successful and famous businessman in Penang.
