Penang Isle: The Butterfly Farm
Located at the northwest end of the island in Teluk Bahang, the Penang Butterfly Farm is regarded as the World’s 1st Live Butterfly Sanctuary. Thousands of butterflies can be found within the sanctuary, and it is an interesting place worth visiting for those who are touring Penang.
The Penang Butterfly Farm which was established in 1986, is the first tropical butterfly farm ever set up in the tropical world, with an average flying population of 4000 Malaysian butterflies of 120 different species. Besides butterflies, the farm also features various other insects as well.

The Municipal Fountain can be found at a small garden beside the Town Hall and is also nearby the Dewan Sri Pinang in George Town. The fountain was donated a wealthy Chinese in 1883 to mark the opening of the Penang Town Hall.
