A view of the KOMTAR Tower from Rope Walk, or Jalan Pintal Tali, George Town.
Completed more than 10 years ago, this seaside walkway that stretches along the coastline of Jelutong Expressway, is also dubbed the ‘New Gurney’ by the locals here. This walkway is a popular place for joggers, cyclists as well as fishing hobbyists. At the center of the walkway lies the 4-blue-pylons art sculpture made by renowned artist NAKAYAMA Hitori.
The promenade is now renamed as Karpal Singh Drive in honor of Karpal Singh, a prominent politician hailing from Penang who passed away in an accident in 2014.
Old heritage pre-war townhouses along Acheen Street, George Town. These double-storeys townhouses normally have the “Southern Chinese” Eclectic Style architecture, which is often influenced by a mix of Chinese, Indian and European style design.

A street art mural painted by Sasha Korban, an Ukrainian artist who had also participated in the previous container art event in Penang. This art work can be found behind the rows of shops at Lebuh Keng Kwee (Keng Kwee Street), the same street where the Penang Famous Chendul Stall is located.
The portrait can be seen facing an open space car park area which is accessible from Prangin Road.

At the height of over 230 meters, Komtar Tower is the tallest building in Penang and one of the tallest buildings in Malaysia.
