A newly established cafe at Green Hall Street, Kaffa Espresso Bar joins a myriad of such similar cafes which are opening all over George Town in recent years. Kaffa Espresso Bar provides a retro-like and cozy ambiance while serving nice food (such as Big Bites All-Day Long Breakfast Platter) and coffee. Opened this year from a renovated pre-war shophouse located along Muntri Street, the Camera Museum showcases various retro or vintage cameras besides having a photography exhibition gallery. The cameras on display are of various shapes and designs with some vintage cameras up for sale at its gift shop. There’s also s small cafe inside the museum. The museum opens daily from 9am to 8pm and its Facebook site is https://www.facebook.com/PenangCameraMuseum. There is a RM20 entrance fee for adults, RM10 for students and senior citizens to access the cameras display hall.

The Penang General Post Office is located within the Bangunan Tuanku Syed Putra (literally, Building of Tuanku Syed Putra) at Downing Street, George Town. As the first major government office in Penang after the country’s independence, Bangunan Tuanku Syed Putra was named after Tuanku Syed Putra, the Raja of Perlis, who was also the country’s third King during 21 September 1960 to 20 September 1965.
