Penang Isle: The Goddess of Mercy’s Garden
Standing high atop the hills above the Kek Lok Si temple complex is the 30.2m bronze statue of the Goddess of Mercy or Kuan Yin. The statue and its surrounding garden was completed and opened to the public in 2002. A 20-storey high pavilion is also built to shelter the goddess’ statue and is a marvelous sight to behold.

Penang Isle: The KOMTAR Landmark
Standing at the heart of George Town with a height of 761 feet (232 meters), the landmark KOMTAR Tower is the tallest building in Penang and is part of a multipurpose complex which houses various retail outlets, transportation hub as well as administrative offices for the state government.

The Tow Boo Kong temple is a temple worshiping the Nine Emperors Gods which is located at Raja Uda, Butterworth, Penang. The remarkably distinctive temple is a beautiful sight as the temple is intricately adorned with mythical Chinese carvings outside and within the temple courtyard.

Penang Isle: Bayan Baru Sivan Temple
The MYR 3 million Sri Visalatchi Sri Vishwanather Temple (Sivan Temple), believed to be the biggest Sivan temple in the northern region, is the latest attraction of the Hindu religious enclave in Bayan Baru, Penang. The Hindu temple is located next to the Charismatic Church of Penang and the Than Hsiang Buddhist Temple.
