A wall steel rod caricature depicting how Chulia Street is now also known as the Backpackers’ Main Street due to the number of budget hotels sprouting along the street with the influx of tourists into the island in recent times.

Established in 1865, the Thean Hou Temple is located along Muntri Street and was built using Hainanese architecture style with beautiful stone carvings.

Penang Isle: Lee Clan Jetty
Established in the late 18th century, the Lee clan jetty is one of the few famous waterfront villages situated at the eastern coast of George Town. Similarly to the Chew clan jetty, the houses are built atop wooden planks on stilts.
Penang Street Art (Dual Role)
A steel rod caricature installed along Chulia Street Ghaut and right across the central fire station at Beach Street. It depicts the dual role performed by policemen in the early 1900s who were also called to put out fires.
Qingming Festival in Penang
The Berapit burial ground at Bukit Mertajam is one of the largest place for Chinese from all over Penang to visit and pay respect to their ancestors during the Qingming Festival (also known as Tomb Sweeping Day and Clear Bright Festival).
A Chinese tradition, the Qingming Festival is an opportunity for members of a family to remember and honour their ancestors at grave sites. Young and old pray before the ancestors, sweep the tombs and offer food, tea, wine, chopsticks, joss paper accessories, and/or libations to the ancestors.
