Penang Floral Festival: Part I
Held a few times annually at the Botanic Garden, the Penang Flora Festival showcases a wide variety of flowers and plants by the locals. Stalls selling plants and flowers as well as gardening stuff are usually setup for those interested in having their own garden at their homes. Floral art class and competition are also held in celebration of the beauty of nature’s blossoms.
Penang Isle: The KOMTAR Landmark
Standing at the heart of George Town with a height of 761 feet (232 meters), the landmark KOMTAR Tower is the tallest building in Penang and is part of a multipurpose complex which houses various retail outlets, transportation hub as well as administrative offices for the state government.

Penang Isle: Reclining Buddha Temple (Wat Chayamangkalaram)
Situated opposite just across the road from the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple lies the Thai Reclining Buddha (or Sleeping Buddha) Temple. The world’s third longest reclining Buddha is built within the temple. Outside the temple walls, statues of mythical beings can be found just like the Burmese temple.
